Latin Flow... UK Style
Feb 10th, 2009 - Paul Smyth - ReggaetonLondon.co.uk
Flow Latino, an up-and-coming Urban Latin group from London is making waves in the UK Latin scene. With only a few years of producing and performing under their belts, they are quickly rising to the top of the UK Reggaeton Scene. The group consists of vocalists Valenciz & Alvarez and DJ Menez, who together create a versatile combination of heavy, danceful beats, and slick, well delivered vocals. Valenciz & Alvarez originating from Colombia, along with DJ Menez originally hailing from Spain, demonstrate their Latin roots throughout their music, while keeping it a very UK Latin style, bringing in multi-cultural London sounds such as their Jamaican Bashment tinged track Pásamela.
Their versatility with being able to produce with different musical styles is evident from their typical Reggaeton style Candy to their Crunk Hip-Hop banger Vibrate That, all the while still staying with a UK Latin vibe, which has gained them notoriety among the reggaeton scene in London and has pushed their musical careers to further heights. Due to this, they have been able to perform at two of the largest and most prestigious Latin festivals throughout the UK & Europe: El Carnaval Del Pueblo & The Latin Carnival, amongst other UK Latin events.
The group is currently focused on working on their upcoming highly anticipated RnB themed song & music video Ella Seduce, with its infectious beat and catchy hook, combined with the seductive vocals from Valenciz & Alvarez –it’s very hard not to keep the track playing on repeat! The smooth & sexual themed vocals make it not only a track for the ladies, but for everyone to dance and get down to, and it is set to put the trio even further into the limelight.
Ella Seduce will be officially released in early March 2009, with the music video to follow shortly after, and it's definitely one to have on your iPod!
You can hear Flow Latino's tracks Quitarte Todo & Sensual on the Reggaeton London - Invasion Mixtape Vol. 2 due for release 28th February 2009.
