Orishas
Orishas is a popular Cuban hip hop group.Yotuel and Ruzzo, two Cubans who moved from Havana to Paris as part of a school exchange program, joined Roldán and Flaco-Pro, two rappers, to form the band in 1999.
Their most popular songs include "A Lo Cubano" and "537 CUBA", which features the same famous background music as "Chan Chan" by Compay Segundo.
The album El Kilo was chosen as one of Amazon.com's Top 100 Editor's Picks of 2005 (#81).
In 2007 they were featured in Calle 13 (band)'s Residente O Visitante album.
