Flow Latino
Flow Latino ,an up and coming talented Urban Latin group in the UK, consisting of two vocalists (Valenciz & Alvarez) and one DJ (DJ Menez) . Starting in early 2006, they started off by working on many different beats and rhythms incorporating their unique styles to create ear catching music. During 2006 Flow Latino grew in confidence in order to pursue their music careers; by this stage they had chosen their main area of interest which was the genre of Reggaeton, using hardcore Reggaeton beats by producers from U.S.A and London. In 2007 Flow Latino joined the Latin Multicultural Group, an organisation who was recruiting up and coming Reggaeton artists. Here they extended their musical knowledge by performing to crowds of different backgrounds and ages, also for the first time recorded professionally, songs such as ''Candy'' and ''Pegate Pegate''. During the summer they performed at two of the largest and most attended Latin American Carnivals of England and Europe. El Carnaval Del Pueblo and The Latin Carnival, where they gained a lot of recognition from the UK Latin community.
At the end of 2007 Valenciz alongside DJ Menez began to enter the clubbing scene by playing at many Reggaeton venues and events. During this period DJ Menez’s reputation was starting to take form as he started to produce a large amount of Remixes and Mixes of which he is now well known for, with more than 30 remixes under his name and over 40 mixes all within the same year.
At the moment DJ Menez is focused on releasing his album as a 2 CD compilation containing over 40 Remixes and Mixes, the album being aptly named ‘ ‘Nueva Menez Era Vol.1’and is set to be a highly anticipated Album among the UK Reggaeton Community.
The start of 2008 was difficult for Flow Latino as they had difficult choices to make, and they soon decided that it was best to carry on with their own ideas. During the mid part of 2008, they focused on producing and recording, exploring different rhythms and tempo's that helped to explore their versatility with tracks like ''Mami Sensual'' and ''Vibrate That''. These Two up-tempo and commercial appealing songs, quickly took the UK Latin Scene by storm, and made their presence felt strongly that they were here to stay!
Flow Latino have been one of the first UK Urban Latin acts to perform at La Bomba & Lokura, and came out on top with more than 3500 votes in the voting poll, which was an impressive number that clearly showed how much people had been hooked onto their music throughout the year.
At present Flow Latino are rated as one of the finest Reggaeton acts from the UK. With many more promising things to come in 2009, that will take their careers to new levels and continue to break barriers.
