Alexis & Fido
Alexis & Fido, often nicknamed ‘Los Pitbulls’ are a reggaeton duo from Puerto Rico. They own Wild Dogz, a label created by both Alexis Y Fido. Their third studio album Sobrenatural was releases late 2007 and includes the hit single ‘cinco letras’.
Alexis's real name is Raul Ortiz, while Fido's real name is Joel Martinez. They own the label Wild Dogz, which they created in 2006.
According to Alex Y Fido, in an interview, the song El Palo put them on the map and made themselves known.
In an interview, Fido states that he served for the army for four years.
According to Fido, he and Yandel were close friends as teenagers and helped each other kick start their careers. Likewise, Alexis was close to Wisin, and also helped him with his career.
Eventually the two duos were formed, Alexis Y Fido and Wisin Y Yandel, and went their separate ways. In fact, Alexis & Fido would be featured on Yandel's solo album “Quién Contra Mí” and Wisin & Yandel would be featured on Alexis y Fido's “Los Reyes Del Perreo” album
